Fish Sambal


  • Marinate fish pieces with turmeric powder and some salt. Fry it, set aside.
Blend the dried chilli, shallots, garlic & shrimp paste into paste.
  • Heat oil in wok, saute some onion slices, add in chilli paste and 1 0r 2 bruised lemon grass. Saute until fragrant.
  • Add in tamarind juice and coconut milk or milk(optional).
  • Add some sugar and salt to taste.
  • Add in the fish and top with onion rings.
  • Remove from heat. Serve.
