Curry Sardine 1 can sardine(mackerel taste better) 1 large red onion-sliced 3 cloves of garlic 1 tsp rempah campuran(halba, biji sawi, "kacang hijau", jintan manis) 5 Tbsp fish curry powder(make paste with a bit water) 2 potatoes - cut cubes 2 tomatoes - cut cubes 2 terung bulat-optional 2 cups of water or santan or susu cair 1 cup of asam jawa some curry leaves Salt-to taste
- Heat oil, saute'rempah campuran', then red onion, garlic and curry leaves. Stir well.
- Add in terung and mix well (optional)
- Add in curry paste, stir till oil layer appear. Then add in potatoes and sardin with 2 cups of water.
- Once comes to boiled, add in tomatoes.
- Slow fire a bit, let the potatoes empuk then add in asam jawa and salt. (Don't add asam jawa before potatoes, nanti potatoes lambat masak).
- Simmer few more minutes the off fire. Serve
- 1 can sardin mackerel
- 1 large red onion-sliced

- 1 tomato-sliced
- 1 Tbsp chili powder (make paste with a bit of water)
- 1 cup of asam jawa
- salt to taste
- Tumis red onion and garlic.
- Add in tomato, stir well.
- Then chili paste, stir and asam jawa.
- Mix well till oil layer appear. Add in the sardin, mix well.
- Simmer for few mins. Salt to taste. Serve.
