Kari Ikan Bilis (Anchovy Curry)
- Handful of ikan bilis
- 2 potatoes - cut cubes
- 1 large red onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 sting of curry leaves
- 1 tbsp fish curry powder (mix with water make into paste)
- 1.2 tsp mix halba
- 1 tsp asam jawa
- 1 cup coconut milk (or milk)
- salt to taste
- oil for cooking
- Heat oil, saute the onion. Then the halba mix and curry leaves.
- Add in curry paste. Add more water as needed, once can see the oil, add in potatoes cubes.
- Stir to mix well, cover and let it cook a bit.
- Once potatoes soft, add in coconut milk. Let it turn to boil.
- Now, add the anchovy, slow fire and let cook for about 5 to 10 minutes.
- Serve!!
